Designed around an object orientated framework, PDnH Server provides a solid foundation for dynamic web site development.
Using the PDnH Server system, developers can create their own bespoke applications and services quickly using existing methods as well as their own.
The user experience can be completely customised by the development team and web site administrators, tailoring the user experience to user specifications.
The flexibility and power of the underlying system enables users to perform tasks usually associated with command line terminals.
PDnH Server features the following frameworks for developers to harness in their web applications.
In addition to solid frameworks, PDnH Server also has libraries for unit conversion, Google Maps and Google SiteMaps amongst others.
PDnH Server also has the Mootools framework included as standard for client-side functionality and usability.
The library also supports third party plug-ins for the public facing web site and PDnH Server administrators interface.
PDnH Server is currently looking for additional project developers to help take this project forward. If you are interested in contributing or helping with PDnH Server development in other ways, please e-mail info@polaris-digital.com.
If you wish to participate, we recommend developing using the Eclipse IDE for all developments to the system, frameworks and plug-ins. We have provided a quick and easy setup guide for Eclipse, providing everyone with everything needed to get developing for PDnH Server.
